Update on the Blu-Ray...

The image we sent to the pressing plant has been returned with errors (I would have been surprised if otherwise, but I hoped - the DVD9s took two or three iterations to get accepted).

This means that we still do not have a delivery date for the BD discs. It may even mean that we cannot get the BDs pressed. In that case, we need to look at burning BD-Rs, adding further delays (and issues for playing the discs in some players).

Some of you have (understandably) become increasingly impatient about this physical release. After thinking through the options (and examining finances), I've come up with a couple of options for those of you dying from frustration...

1. Deep breaths - I recommend Kundalini Yoga. If you can hold on, I'd appreciate it. I understand the wait is irritating (I was hoping to have my life and apartment back by now, but it's still full of boxes. Believe me, I share your pain :)
2. Take a DVD set instead - I thought about ways of simply and affordably refunding the difference, but I can't really send people a few dollars - my sanity would completely go. But, what I can do is stuff in a few extra postcards and stickers in with a DVD set to make up the difference (around 5 of each - I'm not going to count exactly though)
3. Take a DVD set now and get an extra BD when they are ready - because this will involve extra material+shipping cost, I will need (about) $3 if you want to take this option. I haven't worked out exactly how much this will cost yet, but it will be less than $4. These will ship a couple of weeks after the main BD orders for simplicity's sake, so it would mean a further delay in receiving the actual BD

• Include either Just DVD set or DVD now, BD later
• If you have any questions about this, send them direct to me - the dvd4bd@thisoneisonus.org address emails will not be read manually, so DO NOT ask questions there
• Wait - I will mail requested DVD sets next Monday (and every Monday for later orders)
• Once I have worked out the additional cost of mailing an extra disc out (and averaged it to cover worldwide shipping, I will request payment - either through PayPal or by mail

We are working hard to try and resolve these authoring issues. If the discs cannot be pressed and have to be burned instead, we will re-address options for people. As soon as there is any significant update I will update here. Smaller updates will also get tweeted.

This is not ideal, but we have managed to overcome the many problems we've encountered along the way, and I know that Greg and the rest of the authoring team are working hard to resolve this issue as quickly as possible. Greg in particular has really gone the extra mile with this project, and we all are extremely grateful for the time and effort he's been putting in to get you the best quality releases technically possible.
